Assign media by ID is not allowed for NetBackup media.

Assign media by ID is not allowed for NetBackup media.

I get the above error when assign an old tape that I put back in the robot so I can restore the file from that tapes. Need help on procedure. Do i need to assign the tape first.

If the tape was unassigned then that means that the images on it are expired. In this case you should do an "import" of the tape
