Am printing from WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows. It requires printer to be assigned an lpt port. This was easy enough in WIN95 or WIN98, but there appears to be no way to do this for a network printer in WIN2KPRO. There are lpt ports in the printer properties, but the "add port" button does nothing.

Thank You

Today seems to be printer day :) Well - if wordperfect wants to use LPT1, go to a c: command prompt, and type:

Net Use LPT1: \\Server\\nameoftheprinter /Persistent:yes

That will map your available LPT1: port to the network printer. You can map lpt2 or any other LPT port in the same manner.

Hope that does it for ya.
