Assign History Value

What I am wanting to do is when I submit form data to the next page, I want the page that I just left (the previous history) to be set to a separate page.

Is this possible? Can I assign a hsitory value, and how can this be done?

Any help would be appreciated.

The History object is read-only. So you cannot change where someone has been (you're trying to change history LOL) -- Just trying to help...
