Hi
We have a Cisco 2600 with an NM-16AM card installed. So far we have been able to dial into the box and authenticate. The IP address is assigned from a pool, and we can access the network. This setup is being used for Admin support, by our out of hours staff.
But now we are wanting to setup some standard users, so that they can replicate their Lotus Notes. But we want to make sure that they cannot get access to anything else, so we plan to put a PIX firewall between the router and the rest of the network.
We then want to setup a number of IP address pools, and set each user to pick get an address from a specific pool, depending on what access they need. The different pools would have different access through the firewall.
The problem is, we cannot find a way of assigning a user to an address pool. Is this actually possible? If so, could anyone advise us on how it's done.
Thanks in advance.
Bill
