I have a simple html form, and have created a cgi-bin directory for my server to run asp files. For some reason when I submit to my asp page, my IE come up with a prompt to save or open the asp page file... why is this happening?
Your server needs to be told what to do with .asp pages. If it doesn't know what to do with pages with a particular extension, the default action is simply to serve it with headers that the browser interprets to open the open/save dialog.
