P.S.
I dont actually mean the website test.com! Just the syntax of the url, ive replaced the real url with meaningless stuff.

I thought that, but if I add a / after .asp i get a page cannot be found error.

i.e.
my page is test.asp
ive tried test.asp/test=1

This results in a 404 error being displayed.

Here's the link from a website using this technique, ive replaced the data with X,Y,Z for privacy.

Im not actually using this, i just wanted to know what it was doing and how it was working.

Rich.

Is it possible that index.asp and Page=Y are the names of folders?
