ASP Upload Slow performance

Scenario is a Windows 2000 server with IIS 5.0 Using any asp file uploader. I am experiencing major slow times using any uploading asp file. The file sizes can vary from 10 megs to 50 megs... Extremely slow... sometimes timing out... anyone have this issue?
