Hi
Completely new to IIS and web servers, (kinda had a project dropped from on high) so please be as specific as you can with any answers, Thanks![[wink] [wink] [wink]](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif)
Right, I've had to move a website and sql db from one remote server to another. This I've manage fine and been able to set up the IIS (I think) so we can view the site using its IP address (not setting up the DNS until everyting works as the url is still pointing to a live site on the old server).
The problem is that none of the sites .ASP pages can be viewed. The HTM and HTML ones work fine but the ASP come up with a File or Folder not found error even though they are definitely there. I've cloned the IIS settings from the old server exaclty (as far as I can, old server is Win 2K new is Win 2003)
Can anyone help.
Thanks in advance
Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
