I have created some asp.net pages using Web Matrix and am trying to move them to our company server which is running IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003. I'm not sure what I need to do to get them to work. I have a web.config page in my main folder "Acquired Products" with the .aspx pages but am continually getting the web.config runtime error message about "Custom errors mode = Off" etc. I have changed my web.config file to what it has suggested but nothing changes.

I am thinking that I need to create or ask IT to create (?) a "virtual directory" in IIS in order for these pages to work but want to make sure I understood what I need before I call them. I have no problems running .asp pages.

Is this the proper procedure to get .aspx pages to work on a company intranet server? I have not been able to find any information this basic in the forums (or I don't know what I'm looking for)

Would appreciate a point in the right direction

Thanks,

Toni
