A photo gallery stoped working when I copied from one ftp server to another ftp server. Does this happen? How do I fix.

I am really running into this problem because this page was re-developed in front page. I have no clue what it was originally developed in and the person who re-developed it in front page has no clue about web-design and now I am supposed to host it all with our new web host.

And suggestion for reverse engineering this thing and making it work. Or any simple solution as to why the thing stope working in the first place.

Oh yeah I was orginally hired by this company as a database programmer. Let's just say my responsiblities have increased.

Important Questions:
1) Is it an ASP page? (sorry, just checking)
2) Do you get an error message? Define broke.

The FTP server shouldn't have anything to do with it as this is a web site. The only way the FTP server would come into the equation is if they are uploading their pictures via FTP. Even then the "broke" part would be the web server or the settings forthe FTP servert tat let the user log in.

Need an expensive ASP developer in the North Carolina area? Feel free to let me know.

Is the new server configured to run asp? (Is it a Windows server?)

Disclaimer:
I do not know much about web page development
I know so little I don't even know when I am
asking a stupid question.
I am however willing to learn.

No database involed.
The server is a windows server and configured to run ASP.
broke=
I just get the name of the directory where the picture are supposed to be stored.

Actually, it is not an ASP page.

But all I have right now to go on is misinformation.
I spend most of my day tracking down the problems before I can even fix them.

Alright if you don't mind a topic change. They developed the gallery in microsoft frontpage. Now the gallery is broken after my transfer.

well make sure on the new server that frontpage extentions are enabled, secondly frontpage likes to be in control.. you start manually copying things FP will curse foully at you.

if you want the web transfered, open FP and download/copy/transfer it from inside FP to the new location.

thirdly, just in case, make sure ASP.NET wasn't installed on the old server, what may be happening is part of the code may be dependant on .NET which you may not have on the new location.
