ASP Default page not showing in localhost of windows 2003 server. 1

I installed windows server 2003 and when I run localhost the asp pages will not run. I get a 404 Error. My default page has an asp exstention.

Can someone help me!!!

Have you enabled ASP support in IIS Manager? By default, 2003 IIS 6 will only run static pages. Use the Web Service Extensions item under the server in IIS manager to enable ASP support.
