I have an existing install of Arcserve 2000 backing up a Lotus Notes server. It has the latest patches, and Lotus Notes Agent, and has always been pretty slow, but it has gotten slower even lately.
The latest glitch is that after killing a job while running, I cannot open the Arcserve Manager console; asmgr.exe runs in Task Manager for a while, then it Dr. Watsons. I already tried to delete the old jobs from 000001.qsd and I even renamed the whole directory. No go.
The "good news" is that I have my jobs saved as .asx scripts, and I have actually run two successful restores on this server from the manager console on another server. I just can't open up Asmgr.exe on this server itself.
