ASl 9.01 NW Restore unwantedly creates base directory

I have the problem, that arcserve restore creates base directory, even with the option 'do not create base directory' selected, see following log of a test.

Surrounding: NW 6.5 SP2, AS 9.01, patched.
I couldn't find anything about in supportconnect.ca, and i'd be very glad to get tip, or a note about same experience.
