I currently have Restistribution running from and EIGRP system in a RIP system. Due to the classfull nature of RIPV1 is taking subotimal routers for certain address, whilst tweaking the metrics with route-maps goes some way to improving, what I want to do is increase the AD of certain source address being redistributed (into RIP) (luckily EIGRP assings 170 to externals) but not others (sort of traffic engineering if you will) I cant seem to find out if this is possible with Route-maps

Thanks in advance

Hmm I know no way of doing this.

To be fair, if you're seeing supoptimal routing following redistribution, I would look at adjusting the metrics and/or applying appropriate route filters to prevent this suboptimal routing behaviour.
