Is anyone using ASG Guard along with ASA? I am trying to find out how the two work together or do they remain seperate programs when trying to connect into a switch. Thanks.

The ASG which ASA is referring to is the ASG option for a switch login on R7 and up. By doing a "change login XXXX", you can activate ASG and get a random key generated on page 2. You can then put that key into your system properties in ASA so you don't have to enter it every time you login to the PBX. -CL

I am on a R9 G3r. When doing a 'change login xxx', I do not see a field to turn ASG on. When listing the logins, I do the that ASG is set to "N" for all logins. I am a super-user. Is there somewhere else that this should be set?

ASG needs to be active on the "system-parameters customer-options screen". It does need to be turned on by Avaya if it's not currently active but it was at "no cost" when I had it done about a year ago. I would think they would hit you with at least $50-$100 just to dial in. -CL
