ASAI App Programming Problem

I'm trying to create an ASAI application. I've read through the protocol documentation, and it seems fairly straight-forward. I have a MAPD card in a Definity switch. The MAPD has DLG on it. I've administered one port on the card.

I connect to port 5678 on the MAPD, and send it a connection request. It responds with 2 10 0 0, which I understand to mean "connection accepted, link up."

So far, so good. But here's the problem: after the reply, the TCP connection is closed. I can't send any more messages, and the server doesn't send anything else back (well, once or twice I've seen a RESTART message, but the connection closes before I can reply.)

Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I think I have everything setup correctly on the Definity and the MAPD, but there are a lot of options, and I don't know where to start looking.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks,

JRL

Okay, a bit more information:

The system log on the MAPD shows this:

Adjunct Bri1 Link1 Reachable
Adjunct/1298 Bri1 Link1 CONNECTED
Adjunct/1298 Bri1 Link1 l1_UP
Adjunct/1298 Bri1 Link1 BM_CERROR default BrmMsg...cause=0

when I try to connect.
