We have a Small Salon we just upgraded coming from a Partner System with ASA. We put them into Essential with Call queing which you would think they would love...well they do not like the phones ringing while the call is in que. They liked they old partner "BEEP BEEP". They are very unreasonable, don't want to hear anything about customer service, etc. We told them they could simply press the Ignore button and the call will sit there.."not an option"

Any help for a very difficult customer?

Seeing they don't want to answer their phones remove the queueing and give them a do not disturb button and let the call go to voicemail, they will most likely complain about that as well

Correct...sent calls to an AA...didn't like that either...they just want the call to sit there and beep back...thought about rigging up an auto-park and then lower the park timeout but that would only alert 1 phone I believe..
We also suggested turning down or off the ringers and they don't like that then they won't hear it...Crazy I know!!

Tough sh1t, it will not do what they want....so they live with it or buy another system, that's literally their only options. If it was that important to them they should have checked before hand if it did it or not :-)

Hell just give them some cans and string and tell them to have a good day

Tell them just to answer the phone. It the customers which are looking to spend money in there establishment why not answer the phone.

If the IPO is in Partner Mode will ASA be available?

Is the hunt group set to collective call waiting? If you don't want a phone to ring once they are on a hunt group call, take the call waiting out.

No it wont.
The answer has been given. set the group type to collective (not call waiting)
Also you could remove the 3rd call appearance.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Taking out of collective call waiting would be great if they were on a call. They are not even taking a call. They want ASA which is no longer available. We have exhausted all work around a and from the replies so have you guys but thank you!
