I just became a beta tester for Win7 at my firm and I get errors installing ASA 5.2.13. IF you click through the errors the software installs, but errors out on launch and it's not an admin privilege issue. Does anyone know what the fix or proper method is to get this working?

yep, use ASA R6 most likely. Although ASA R6 has issues of its own (mainly, crashing/freezing up, then when you restart it, it corrupts the "persist.dat" file.

The release of ASA ^ I tired was: Site_Admin_6_00_007.exe
there is also a Service Pack for it: Site_Admin_6_00_007_SP1.01.exe

It's so bad I have gone back to using the old version, and XP.

I would say that Windows 7 and ASA are mutually incompatible right now.

I'm using ASA 3.1.13 on x64 Win 7 with no issues. I suppose that old a version is useless with newer versions of CM?

Yep, same here. Win7 Premium x64 with ASA 5.2.13, no problems.

I loaded asa 5.2 sp4 just now and it installed and works fine. For now anyway.. will keep you posted.

ASA 5.2 sp4, been using it on windows 7 for almost a year, with no problems.

ASA 5.2 sp4 works with W7 32/64bits works... been there for almost 8 months now.

I am running ASA 6.007 without the service pack on 32-bit Win7... Have not had any issues so far...
