I think there is a way, but I can not remember how to do this .. I need to sweep my s8700 and find all the instances of the "autodial" feature and change it to an abrv-dial feature code...

or am I just thinking that it should be a useful tool ?

Trying to remember

ASA Find/Replace is a GREAT tool...unfortunately its one shortcoming is that it will not work for any Feature Buttons at all. If it did it would have saved me countless hours touching every station in dozens of switches to do exactly what you're talking about. I've tried - repeatedly - and it won't touch them. Perhaps ProVision will, but I've never used it.

I know that Terranova when it was sold by Avaya ( at the time Lucent) the software would allow you to do this... I would have thought that after all of this upgrades that ASA would have came with the same functionality .. so Where do you get this Provision software do they sell it ?

That figures !! ... I am off to find my old teranova software,
