ASA 5510 username and password?

Hello,

I'm installing my first ASA 5510 and I don't know what I have done to the ASDM interface. When I try to connect I'm prompted for a user name and password. I didn't think I had set one... but now nothing I do will let me in. I cen telnet to the device.

How do I reset the username and password for the ASDM?

If you have deleted the known hosts, you will have to console into it.

http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 management (for ASDM)
telnet 192.168.12.0 255.255.255.255 inside (for telnet)
ssh 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 outside (for SSH)
Protocol host/subnet interface



You can fix the known hosts or you can set to factory default

write erase
