Sorry guys, but I'm not even 100% sure what tos erach for. probably everything I need has already been said!

Here goes...

Our Brussels office closed. I now have their Cisco ASA 5510 in my hands, and because I have lost contact with the guys who set it up and our contract with cisco has ended, I am at a loss as to how to get into it and reset to factory defaults before we donate it to a shcool or sell it on ebay.

So, to fix this I discovered ROMMON. There were few things in there, but one of them is erase. I typed this in and erased the disk0.

However, then it wouldn't boot up. No problem, I just look for a boot image and copy it to disk0, right? Well... 2 days later and this is as far as I have got:

1. I can successfully boot to the 7.2 image via tftp in ROMMON.
2. I have configured EThernet0/0 with ip address 192.168.0.6, 255.255.255.0, name:eth0
3. I then try to copy the running config to disk0 (which I formatted by the way, so now at least you can dir on it, though it is empty), but it says it can't find the bin file wich I am loded with (through tftp). I suppose this makes sense as where is the source bin? on my tftp server.
4. So now I try copy tftp disk0, and enter the details, but it fails because it cannot see the tftp server on 192.168.0.2 (the ip address of the tftp server connected to eth0).

So, what next? Can anyone help me put asa721-k8.bin on to disk0, please??

I list ("sh ip" in config-if) the ip address, and it is all set right, but i cannot see it from my tftp server, nor can I see the tftp server from the eth0 iterface.

However, using the same IPs and cable, the ROMMON can see the tftp server fine!! It's only after I load the abive image file that the device cant see the tftp server.

Please help.
