I have been using ASA to administer my Defnity GS3 and Intuity Audix for the last 7 months. The last 2 days, I have not been able to connect to my audix using ASA. I can ping the audix and I can get to the audix using my browser. But for some reason I can no longer get to it using ASA. I have checked the port settings and IP address and all is correct. I even thought to re-install ASA but I get the same error.

Please any ideas.
 
What kind of error are you getting- Connection closed by peer?

On your Sat terminal do a Status login and see how many logins you have active.

I am currently having an issue where we are having phantom sessions on our Clan card and I can't connect if there are 5 sessions- Sat terminal, BCMSvu, plus 3 others.

Actually how are you connecting? Datamod or IP?
 
Thanks but the error message I am getting is as follows:

Communications error: Network connection failed. Connection over network failed. Ensure that the host name and connection port are correct, and the host is operational and connected to the network.

Again I can ping the audix no problem.
 
I thought there was a patch for this version. Maybe that can help, you can find it at the avaya site

Thanks for the patch link. But I still get the same message. I think for some reason port 23 is no longer running terminal services. Is there any reason that the services on the Audix would just stop running. My question is should I reboot the Audix or does anyone know how to set up the service on port 23 on the Audix.

I've experienced the same exact trouble using DSA with a R5.1 Intuity Audix. Rebooting the Intuity seems to fix the problem.
