Artwork not flattened msg (and I did flatten AW)

I embedded all linked images into my Illustrator file, then selected "Flatten artwork" from the Layers Palette menu. Still, when I try to save in EPS format (or PDF after embedding linked images), I get a warning sign (yellow triangle) and msg at the bottom of Options dialog box that says that some artwork is not flattened. Is there another step that I'm overlooking?

Havnt seen that one before. Make sure you're running Illustrator 9.0.2
Dont know what else would cause that. I guess make sure your images are flattened and have no extra alpha channels.
