This G3 is using G3V6R.03.246.1 software. I can not delete an entry from the ars table.

the line is like this

011972 11 18 113 intl n

Then I delete all on line.

then save

look at it again and it shows

011972 11 18 n/a intl n

it removes route and leaves the line.

I am trying to clean out the entire table and only have the entries i need.

Type "lis ars route-cho 011972". You should get a list of all routes that have that dial string.

Location: 1 Partitioned Group Number: 1

Dialed Total Route Call Node
String Min Max Pattern Type Number Location

9 7 7 1 hnpa all

Also, dial an international number in that range and do a "list trace" on you extension to see what route it goes out over.
Lastly, when deleting just delete the "Dialed String" column.

Hope this helps.

Ok I did that alread but it does not remove the entry in ars table only changes route to n/a

Are you using any ARS or tenant partitioning? What you have above looks like it is not dialable from there, but is dialable from another partition.

It's been a while since I worked with a version 6 switch, but I suggest you type out your command again and hit the help button. I believe you will see an option to enter "partition" then your partition number at the end of that command.

I also think you can also check your COR Time of Day (I think) settings, that might give you an idea of what partitions you have. I'm a little fuzzy on that though.

Hope that helps

let try that. I'll let you know.

Thanks
