My network is a NT 4.0. PDC and BDCs are all NT 4, running WINS. The BDCs are primary WINS servers for their network; the PDC is the secondary WINS server. In addition, I have one W2K server running WINS and functioning as the primary WINS server. Using the WINSADMIN.exe from the NT 4 Resource Kit, if I try to access the W2K WINS server I get the message Array Bounds are Invalid. At one time I could access this server. Then I started getting 'Bad Stub' messages as I scrolled down the list. Now I can't even get in through this app. I deleted all the files in the wins folder and restarted WINS but it doesn't help. Is the problem with the app? Or is it with running a W2K WINS server?

This doesn't necessarily answer my questions but I did find a work-around. Found out that you can install the W2K MMC on a workstation. Did that. Can access both the W2K and NT 4 WINS and DHCP servers, so far without difficulty.
