Hi all,
I hope i'm in the right thread, I have a quick couple of question about an Aria 24

Can I....
1, Assign a different ring on the reception system phone (or extns) for calls coming in on a specific trunk? ie Trunk 4
2, Can I Night-Switch to a CO line for an after hours call centre? (and does this include calls coming in on all Trunks)?

Thanks for any advise....

Hey mate, sorry about the long delay before answering your post - I have been elsewhere... :p

If you are able to use PC Admin, you'll make quick resolution of this:
If you are using a Handset to program, then it's a bit more complex.

Log in to programming mode [TRANS/PGM *#, TRANS/PGM] (If prompted for password: 147*)

Situation 1: Different ringing stations for Line 04
In order to change the destination of a particular line, you should either establish a Ring Hunt Group in PGM 190/191, or assign stations manually to ring.

Go to PGM 144, and enter the CO Line Range to be modified. In this case, only Line 4, so type 0404 (Line 4-4).
Press the relevant flex key for Day Ring, Night, Weekend, Lunch or On-Demand. Top left Flex Key is FLEX 1, going down, is 2 and so on.
Press FLEX 1 for Day Ring assignment.
Now Dial 1 to assign a station, 2 to assign a Hunt Group, 3 to assign a VMIB Message (CCR Usage) or 4 for a Net-Station.

Press HOLD/SAVE to commit changes to system memory.

Situation 2 - Night switching off net
You can set a forward to an off-net call centre on Night Mode if required (Off-Net means off of the Aria System and back out one of the Trunks.)
This would probably be easiest through a Hunt Group, with an overflow of 3 seconds to a System Speed Number.

I'll warn you now though; there are a couple problems
Mainly - US Conf Timer. UnSupervised Conference Timer. This Timer will be a hassle to you in 2 ways.
Firstly, it will start as soon as the system picks up a line and begins dialling. If the timer runs out, the system shuts the line off and the call ends with no questions asked.
Also, If you forward a call off-net, it will use 2 CO Lines for this. First line will be used by the inbound call. Second line will be used to dial the call out to the Off-Net FWD. Make sense?
Secondly, If the call is finished before the US-Conf Timer expires, those lines (Assuming they are analog) won't disconnect by themselves. They will stay enganged until that timer expires, or you physically disconnect the lines from the system yourself.

Hope this helps you
Angel

Thanks Angel, I will give this a crack soon, we are waiting for the forth trunk to be connected by our local Telco, If I have any hiccups if might be in touch. [peace]
