Hello,

I was wondering if it matters what firmware version the backup was taken have to be the same as the version the backup is restored on to.

I.E a backup taken of 3.8Bf (old) is restored on to a system that contain version C.9Da (New)

Thank you in advanced

Jeff

You should keep the firmware version for the PBX and the back-up to the same version, but sometimes you can be lucky.

Cheers thank you Doktor I thought as much.
Is there a way to retrieve/download the firmware from the system?
Thanks
Jeff

No, you can only upload firmware to the system.
You need to find the firmware and from your PC upload the firmware to the Aria.

Does it matter if you upload an older version of the firmware on to the system. To ensure the backup loads without errors?
What if you do not have a copy of the older version of firmware to match what level the backup was taken from? As there website only has the current version? Is there another websites these can be downloaded from
Cheers

->
Sometime this is possible.
But if you have a back-up from firmaware X, then only upload to firmware X.

-> there exist a program "LDK PC ADMIN OFFLINE" or LDK ADMIN PRO, where you can edit the database - and also see what firmware it is linked to.

There exist several links. Just serch here in this forum.
