Arcserve v7 backup problem

We have a Netware 4.11 box running arcserve v7 which backs up several other netware 4.11 boxes through client agents to a central TL891 tape library with 2 35/70 DLT drives.

All of the jobs are set up to use the same backup account for each server (3 jobs in total)

If 2 of the jobs run together all that is backed up is the SYS drive and the VOL1 drive is missed from the backup.

once these jobs have completed (without the vol1 drives being backed up) the 3rd job kicks in and works without any problem.

Looking at the job logs the error is reported as being the account used to back up the main data drives. this has only started happening since upgrading to v7 from v6.6.

any suggestions??

Do the jobs that fail to back up Vol1 run successfully if they are run sequentially instead of concurrently?

Found out what the problem was!!!

Arcserve 7 does not like talking to more than 1 client agent at a time, hence the backups failing.

Client agents were removed from the servers that were failing and a successful backup was obtained without any problems.
