Hi,
We are upgrading a bunch of things this month and I've got a few questions. The first upgrade is from R11.5 to R12. Along with this we are getting file server suite so we can backup open files on our new servers. It's not much more than the windows client agent and open file agent combo. If a system is just acting as a file server, no email, no db, is the open file agent really needed?
The other issue is that (some of) the new servers will run XenServer with a virtual windows and a a virtual linux on top of this. We have agents for both OSes. Has anyone gotten this to work or does Arcserve have problems with a virtual OS?
Thanks,
- Joel
