Arcserve incomplete jobs due to "failed to open file"

Probably really stupid scenario because of inexperience. Lots of incompletes - looked at the job logs via the manager and see the line "AW0004 Failed to open file, RC=32, The process cannot access the file because it is being used..." Every example I see in the forum and on the web has within the line the full path to/of offending file yet mine doesn't have any additional info. Is there a verbose log switch I got to turn on?

Instead of the job log check the activity log.
