ArcServe backup very slow

After a update from ArcServe 11.5 to 15 our backup performance decreased from 1.5 GB/min to 0.8 GB/min. The backup speed of Exchange and SQl agents are good, the problem is the backup of the local E: disk, with 3,000,000 files and 600GB of data.
It lookes like that the local disk job performs well in the begin, after a few hours the backupjob runs slower an slower. The last 100GB of data needs hours to complete.
