Need some help people. This error is driving me crazy. Server runs for varying lengths of time and backups are fine and then this error pops up and prevents backup from running. Server usually must be rebooted to restore memory to allow backup jobs to proceed.
I have already done the following to try to fix this problem by doing the following – some of it per Computer Associates:
SET RESERVED BUFFERS BELOW 16 MEG = 300 in startup.ncf
Made the following changes in the BTI.CFG settings
MicroKernel
MaxFiles=250
MaxCursors=200
CacheSize=131072
MaxClients=120
BackgroundThreads=25
Btrieve Communications Manager
MaxWorkerThreads=25
MaxRecSize=65116
MaxClients=120
Renamed PVSW.LOG inthe SYS:\SYSTEM folder, LOG in the SYS:\SYSTEM\MKDE and
create a new empty LOG directory and restart the server
I have Minimum Cache Buffers Required to Start Jobs set to 3% already
Do you have any other ideas about a fix for this error????? This server has NSS volumes only and 1.5GB of RAM
