ARCServe 7 SQL cant detect SQL

i just installed a new Domain controller with Windows 2000 Server.
Installed SQL and all SPs
then i installed ARCServer using SQL Databases but
when i try to install the SQL Agent it says cant detect SQL?????
in the same local server?????

any help!!

I THINK I detected the problem since the client agent i got on the CD is for SQL Server 7, but how can i get the SQL Server 2000 Agent i got the licensed but seems not the right cd

Install - skip SQL Agent configuration - patch up, and then run the SQL agent configuration again.
