Hi guys,
whenever I start the arcserve 2000 discovery service on our NT server which is a pdc and thus master-domain-browser, the browser service of that NT server is no longer able to identify the pdc itself where it runs and the pdc no longer appears in the network neighborhood.
Since it is the masterDomain-browser also all the workstations in the lan can´t see the pdc in their network neighborhood.
As soon as I stop the arcserve discovery service and restart the pdc´s browser service everything works fine - and the pdc again appears in the net-hood.
Any idea what that might be ? Any hint that leads to the capture and removal of the culprit - very much appreciated. Thanks.
Thorsten
