ArcServe 2000 Datebase

Hello,

we renamed the Name of the Server on which Arcserve 2000 runs from Fax-Server to Backup-Server.
After that the Jobs won't be updated with an error: login to the database no possible in the jobstatus protocol.
The database points to the old, wrong servername Fax-Server.
How can i rename the Database or, how can i delete the old database ?

HI...

Go the the Environment varialbles on you r server..

look for RNNAME this would still be pointing to the old name..

change the value to the new name of your server...

reboot the server...

and ... u r good to go..

but i have no Environment varialbles named RNNAME, only CONNPATH and CATPATH.
Where do i find the RNNAME Variable ?

HI...

then create a system variable called RNNAME ..

the value should be the name of your computer...

restart...
