Well, obviously it may *not* have backed up ok, but . . .
I'm running a daily backup of an exchange 5.5 server, and Arcserve is reporting the backup as OK, the .ctf files on the backup media look fine (around 23gb for the public folders), but I manged to delete a public folder, so want to do a restore.
No matter what I do, the restore fails. I see when I set up the restore, using the session number, it reports the size of the backup as 1kb. If the session file is 23gb, what's wrong here?
I can`t see what I`m doing wrong - I have been using this setup for years, and several times have restored without any problems. Any iddeas?
Thanks.
