Is there a way or a utility that will allow me to archive the event log in my Windows 2003 DC server? We want to keep everything and lately I have been backing up manually because it's filling up the log quite fast.

make it larger, for one...
then when you choose to delete all entries it'll ask you if you want to save beforehand..
save to an .evt type file and you'll be able to import it again at a later date

Definitely make it larger. You could use logparser or dumpel to export the entries to CSV and archive them that way. Then once a week manually go in and delete them. There is a tool called 'elslave' out there but I can't find it. It's classed as a hacking tool so might be difficult to get hold of. IF you do get it the this

Thank you very much! I'll take thos suggestions into consideration.
