arabic language supports

Hello,
I have SQL SERVER 2000 on WINDOWS 2000 ADVANCED SERVER,
there is a problem: I use coldfusion language to add data to SQL 2000 Database> .When I open database for retrieve the data the result as : ??????????????????????????
this is because i use ARABIC LANGUAGE and it is a non UNICODE language .
-I try to set Arabic as default language in my control panel but the problem not solved>>
-I try to insert arabic words in NOISE.DAT file but the as before not changed..

I hope you to advice me and help me to solve the problem
