Applying necessary patches to a NW5.0 two node cluster

I have a 2 Server Netware 5.0 cluster version 1.0
They are connected to a SAN with two NSS volumes APPS and DATA.

I need to apply nw5sp6a,nicid157,os5pt2a and wsock4f to them so that
I can install some new NW6.5 Servers into our existing nw5.0 tree.

Should I apply the patches with the Servers disconnected
from the cluster volumes apps and data or doesnt it matter.



I am worried that after applying the above patches the Servers
will have a problem booting up and seeing the cluster.
Does it matter which one I do first as one of them is the Master
of root partition.
Any advise, thankyou
