Hi Guys,

Most probably a silly question but I've got a 40 user network that now needs the latest Microsoft patch applied to all workstations to negate the Sasser virus. Does anyone know if there is a way of automating the process as oppose to having to go round to each workstation individually?

Many thanks.

You could use an older copy of the evaluation version let you patch upto 50 PC's but they stopped this and the current one only lets you do I think 5 PC's. The cost on it is about £10 per client.

You can use SMS but that win2k only so thats out.

Or if your a bit clever write a log on script.... but I don't remember how to do that :(

Not really the answer that you were after was it?

No, that's great, thanks Iain... it's a start!
