Dear All :
I have a special Application published .

And I have 2 groups access this application ...

I need limit group1 access to this application to only 2 or 3 concurrent sessions ..
The Problem is that I can apply this per user , not per group ..

So that If I have 3 users in Group1 : user11 , user12 , user13 ..

I need only 2 sessions to be opened by the users in this group ,,

How can I do sucha a thing ?

Publish the application Twice

ApplicationInstance1 to group1, set "limit instances allowed to run in server farm" to 2 or 3

ApplicationInstance2 to group2, set "limit instances allowed to run in server farm" to 2 or 3

Now you'll be restricting based on group.

Should work like a charm.....

PS if you want the app to have the same name (instead of APP1 APP2) put the Apps in a folder in the CMC

Hope this helps.

The Problem is that I will limit the group to the application ..
But If I have 2 applications published ,,
and I published each of them twice ,,

So that group 1 will be able to access the 1st application as limited by publishing ( 3 times only )
he will be able to access the 2nd 3 times too ..
so that If the group has 7 members inside ..
they will be able o access the 2 applications from 6 places in the same time !!!

I need to limit the access to 3 only ..

Did u get me ?
