Applications launched at server but not at client

We are experiencing a problem with out Metaframe XPe farm.

Users are launching apps but there are not being displayed on the client, they keep launching apps until the app is displayed on the client.

If you use CMC it shows client is running multiple copies of the same app but if you shadow user it only displays one app running.

This does not seem to be restricted to a specific application.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We had the exact same problem, thread48-622522. Ours stemmed from a bad print driver. We caught it with the event log. We noticed every time this would happen there was a spoolsv.exe error right around the same time.

Or....

Get the user to start the application once, then shadow that user, get them to press Ctrl+F1 and get TaskManager up and then try Maximising the application and see if it appears, it may be set off the screen but then running that may times, it finally shows!
