My new TZ170 VPN seems to have filled the viod for this client that I am doing some work for recently. Connecting to exchange email and getting to files is plenty fast at this point.
The problem:
This person also wants to use QuickBooks accounting over this VPN connection using 56k modem at the remote location. He wants to be able to connect to QuickBooks application while remote and also print locally. So far the speeds we get over this connection are way too slow to make this tolerable.
I was hoping someone may give me an idea on how to speed things up over this slow connection. Upgrading the 56k modem is not an option at this point and printing locally is needed.
