Hi all again..

Extending on my previeus post.

I have installed a terminal server but in Remote - Administration mode.

But it might be better for me to use the Application Server mode. so that a user only opens his application. So the accountant only opens the accountancy software.

This is possible with terminal server if it is installed as an Application server.

But then there is something like the licencing software.

It has to be installed on a Domain controller wich I do not have. the server where I installed terminal server on is stand allone and only has a stand alone accountancy program on it. so it just uses default user management.

What should I do to install this application server?

is it possible to create several icons on a client's desktop that connects to difrent applications on the server so for example. If he presses an outlook look alike icon it stats the outlook on the terminal server. (asks for log in ofcource). but if he clicks the accountancy software icon he gets that application?

tanks in advance..

best regards.

tank you,
