I have installed the IPO Application server (v8) on to a Hyper-V virtual machine, it has installed ok, but it doesn't seem to see the virtual network card that Hyper-V uses. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

What happens when you configure it by CLI?
Login under root and type: system-config-network
See if it shows up there.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Nope, it isn't showing in the devices section. :(

Then you have a problem :-)
Is it a shared NIC or a dedicated NIC?

Had the same issue on mine. When you build the VM in HyperV, select Legacy Network Adapter for the NIC type. Worked like a champ for me after I did that.

Yes, perfect, that worked great thanks!

Try to typ setup in the root, much easier.
