Application Problem.

When I install a game I can play it fine until the computer is rebooted. Then when I start it I can run it for about a minute before the game terminates on its own. There are no error messages. It just stops.

Take a look at your Event Viewer. Start > Control Panel > admin Tools > Event Viewer. Are there any errors in here around the time the game is crashing?

Make sure you have the most recent version of DirectX by visiting the Microsoft Update Site.

Also make sure your Video Card drivers are upto date by visiting the manufacturers website.

I have Direct x 9 and my video card has the most recient drivers.

In the event viewer there is an Application Error. This occurs while running Call to Power 2 "Faulting application ctp2.exe, version 1.2.0.0, faulting module ctp2.exe, version 1.2.0.0, fault address 0x0001f86f.
