Application error when in design view

Hi,

When I try to open a specific access report in design view, Access gives me this error:

"The instruction at "0x77fcb2b9" referenced memory at "0x8e552699". The memory could not be written."

and then it just crashes. This happens only with this report. I tried to a "compact and repair database" but that did not help.
The same thing happens when I run the report.

Is there a fix fot his type of problem ?

Hallo,

For errors like this, try creating a new database and importing all the objects from the old one into it.
That quite often works.
