applicaiton path in windows service

I need to write a windows service program. In this service i need to read a text file to do some configurations. The problem i have is that i am not able to find the file path. i have the files in my service installation folder. How to find the path to the installation folder. My service by default look at the windows\system32 folder for the files!

can anybody help please..

Services are almost always installed in the System32 directory. While this is only a convention, I would suggest you do that.
