Hej,

Applescript and Quark 4.x works beautifully together instead for ONE thing:

print to postscript file:(alias)

does not seem to be supported any more. Does anyone know how to applescript that command under 4.x? Not manually, but via script?

Thanx a lot!

:-(

NO NO NO.

My question stemmed from the fact that
a) it is not described in the Quark Scripting Support and b) there was no answer in the Quark Scripting Forum

Is it really true that nobody out there scripts the printing? Odd!

Cheers,

Jo.

It's on page 200 of Shirley Hopkins Applescripting Quark.

Set up a PS printer in your chooser, then set up quark to print to that printer using applescript. She has a few versions on her disk as well.

You might also check out the Quark dictionary which now has PostScript file---alias reference to file to be created.

Quick keys might also be good to work with in setting this up.

Good luck,

Heaher
