Append to Media Option

Good Morning,

I recently removed (deleted) the Scheduled job from my backup system within Arcserve 2000. I have re-added the job with a few modifications...my question is; Do I need to change any Options for First Backup Media e.g like the append to media option as I already have existing data on my backup tapes and I want it overwritten/replaced.

If it is a Custom job and you want it to overwrite then yes you need to set the option.

If it is a Rotation or GFS then it is automatic.
